Love your workplace

Envoy is a mid-sized San Francisco-based start-up that is challenging the status quo of the way a workplace works. Beginning with its flagship product of Visitors, Envoy now has a broad offering of products that help streamline the entire office experience and bring delight to the employees that use them.

As Head of Brand Design at Envoy, I led cross-functional brand and campaign initiatives spanning web, product marketing, advertising, events, and global brand systems. Overseeing a multidisciplinary creative team, I helped scale the brand through a period of rapid company growth, including a $10M global campaign initiative across OOH, digital, and experiential channels.

The Envoy brand is rooted in the idea of bringing life to work. We often talked about transforming the mundane tasks of day-to-day office work into something that provided joy through the ease with which it worked. Our brand visual language reflected this joy with our playful illustrations filled with color and expression. We engaged illustrator Lisa Engler to create our office world, creating not only a library of diverse characters, but lively office scenes, and backdrops. Animator Felipe Vargas brought these illustrations to life in a variety of campaigns that featured the characters ‘making hybrid work’, or ‘loving their workplace’.

Typography and color palette followed these cues, resulting in a flexible system that was able to span from product renderings to campaign collateral and narrative-driven scenes. The Envoy brand is energetic and engaging and endears the audience to the joys of being in the workplace together.
